NYBG Orchid Show 2027: Dates, Artists, Ticket Alerts & Visit Planning
The New York Botanical Garden’s 2027 Orchid Show runs from February 6 through April 25 in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Landscape artists Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot are creating installations that combine glass, crystal, stone and thousands of orchids to play with light, reflection and perspective. The key ticketing fact right now is that NYBG’s current 2027 exhibition page is still offering Ticket Alerts rather than a full public ticket calendar or general 2027 pricing. That means older Orchid Show prices should not be treated as current. Use the confirmed dates to plan the trip, then use NYBG’s live page once 2027 admission inventory opens.
The public 2027 exhibition runs February 6 through April 25.
The exhibition is inside the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.
The landscape artists are using glass, crystal, stone and orchids in light-focused sculptural installations.
As of September 12, the dedicated 2027 exhibition page is collecting Ticket Alerts rather than showing a complete public ticket calendar or general pricing.
NYBG lists a Members-Only Preview Friday, February 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bronx, NY 10458-5126.
The public exhibition runs February 6 through April 25, 2027
NYBG’s current exhibition page confirms The Orchid Show from February 6 through April 25, 2027. The display is staged in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory rather than across the entire 250-acre Garden.
That makes this a strong late-winter and early-spring indoor-heavy anchor, but it still requires a Bronx trip. Treat it as a real half-day instead of squeezing it between tightly timed Midtown reservations.
Use the February 2027 guide for opening-week planning and the broader spring guide for March–April itineraries.
Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot are the featured landscape artists
The 2027 show is built around work by landscape artists Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot. NYBG describes installations using glass, crystal, stone and orchids to create shimmering color, light and dream-like reflections.
This is not simply a standard conservatory flower display with a different year label. The current 2027 concept is explicitly art-and-landscape driven, so visitors who care about photography, installation art or design have a different reason to prioritize it.
Allow time to move through the Conservatory rather than treating the show as a quick photo stop.
General 2027 ticket pricing is not live yet
The dedicated 2027 Orchid Show page currently displays a “Sign Up for Ticket Alerts” call to action instead of a complete public ticket calendar or general 2027 admission table.
NYBG has published prices for earlier Orchid Show seasons elsewhere on the site, but those are not reliable evidence for 2027. This guide therefore does not freeze an old adult, child, member or Orchid Nights price as a 2027 fact.
Wait for the live 2027 event page before budgeting the exact admission cost or choosing a date-specific ticket.
Members get a February 5 preview
NYBG’s current member calendar lists a Members-Only Preview for Friday, February 5, 2027 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., one day before the public opening.
The same member page lists Orchid Show Member Appreciation Days Thursday through Sunday, March 4–7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with member-specific benefits. Those are membership benefits, not general-public event hours.
Do not present the February 5 preview as the public opening date; public dates begin February 6.
Plan the Bronx trip before choosing a second fixed reservation
NYBG is at 2900 Southern Boulevard in the Bronx. The strongest itinerary gives the Garden enough time for the Conservatory plus walking, food or another Garden area rather than using the Orchid Show as a transit-heavy add-on to a packed Manhattan day.
Because exact 2027 date-level admission inventory is not yet live, choose the broad trip day first and then confirm the official NYBG ticket calendar when sales open.
Leave generous travel margin if you later pair NYBG with a timed Broadway or Midtown evening.
Check current Garden hours for the exact date
NYBG’s general operating pattern can vary by date, holiday and exhibition calendar. The dedicated 2027 Orchid Show page confirms the exhibition run, but it does not yet publish a complete date-by-date public admission schedule for the entire season.
Do not infer every February, March or April Monday closure from another month or prior season. Use NYBG’s current What’s On calendar for the exact date once your visit is close enough to book.
Exhibition start/end dates are not a substitute for the live daily operating calendar.
