Compare the final checkout total, not the first price shown
Two listings can reverse order after mandatory charges are added. Enter the displayed ticket price and the mandatory per-ticket fees separately so the comparison uses the amount you would actually pay.
If a seller already shows an all-in price, enter that amount as the displayed price and use zero for the fee field.
Price only makes sense when the seats are comparable
A cheaper mezzanine seat and a more expensive orchestra seat are not the same product. Compare the section, row, sightline and performance date before treating the lower total as the better deal.
The calculator deliberately does not assign a monetary value to seat quality.
Primary and resale inventory should be identified before checkout
Start from the production, theater or a recognized official Broadway source to identify the authorized primary seller. Resale can be legitimate, but it is a different inventory type with different pricing and transfer conditions.
A low total is not useful if you misunderstood whether the listing was primary or resale.
Use group total when several tickets are involved
A small per-ticket fee difference becomes more meaningful for a family or group. The ticket-count field scales both options so you can see the full purchase impact.
Recheck that every seat in the group is actually available together before relying on the calculated group total.
