Compare the same unit on both sides
Most attraction passes are priced per traveler, so enter a per-traveler pass price and a per-traveler total for separate tickets. The travelers field then scales both options consistently for a couple, family or group.

Reservations and timing can change the practical value

Convenience has value, but call it convenience
A pass may simplify ticket management even when the dollar totals are close. That can be a legitimate reason to choose it, but it is different from claiming the pass saves money.
