Use the official map before a long walking day
The city dataset includes geographic coordinates and can be used to identify facilities near parks, libraries, transit hubs and other public locations. Check likely stops before entering an area where options may be sparse.
Hours matter as much as location
A restroom can be operational but only available during the host facility’s hours. Libraries, parks and seasonal facilities may all have different access windows.
Accessibility information is part of the dataset
The official data includes an accessibility field when that information is available, along with notes that can explain unusual access conditions.
Treat the map as a strong lead, not a guarantee
